Equistro Kerabol Biotin
Product Description
Equistro Kerabol Biotin – Strong Hooves and a Shiny Coat
New storage coming in May!
Equistro Kerabol Biotin is a complementary
feed developed by experts to support the health
of the horse’s hooves and coat.
Its unique combination of D-biotin, methionine,
zinc, manganese, and organic selenium provides
an optimal nutritional foundation for the formation
of healthy, durable, and flexible hoof material as well as a glossy coat.
The complete renewal of a hoof is a slow process that can take up to 12 months. For this reason, Equistro Kerabol Biotin is
designed for long-term use, ensuring that newly growing
horn tissue develops strong and high-quality.
Why Choose
Why choose Equistro Kerabol Biotin?
1. The power of D-biotin: An essential component of enzyme systems that regulate the integrity of epidermal tissues such as hooves and skin. It plays a key role in the metabolism of carbohydrates, fats, and proteins.
2. Keratin formation: Supports the synthesis of alpha- and beta-keratins, which are the main structural components of hoof horn and hair.
3. Essential methionine: Contains high levels of DL-methionine, a sulfur-containing amino acid that is critical for building strong hoof material.
4. IPALIGO® trace elements: Zinc and manganese are provided in organic chelated form, ensuring excellent absorption and utilization in tissues.
5. Organic selenium: Protects developing cells from oxidative stress and supports overall metabolism.
6. Strength and flexibility: Helps prevent hoof cracking, brittleness, and slow hoof growth.

Frequently Asked Questions
How quickly will results be visible? Improvements in coat shine may appear within a few weeks. However, since hooves grow slowly (approx. 8–10 mm per month), the effects on stronger, healthier hoof material become most visible after several months of regular use.
Why isn’t biotin alone enough for hoof care? Although biotin is important, hoof horn also requires sulfur-containing amino acids (methionine) and trace elements such as zinc and manganese. Kerabol Biotin provides all of these in optimal proportions, making the combined effect more effective than biotin alone.
Is Kerabol Biotin suitable for horses recovering from laminitis? Yes. It provides the building blocks needed for the growth of new, stronger hoof horn to replace damaged tissue. However, veterinary consultation is recommended as part of supportive treatment.
